Chiropractic Care
Restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving daily function.
Chiropractic care is a conservative, non-surgical approach to musculoskeletal pain and functional limitations involving the spine, joints, and related soft tissues. At Valley Physical Medicine, chiropractic services are provided by Daniel J. Culliton, DC and are focused on improving mobility, reducing pain, and helping patients return to daily activities safely and efficiently.
Our goal is to identify the mechanical factors contributing to your symptoms and develop a care plan tailored to your condition, lifestyle, and functional needs.
What Chiropractic Care Can Help With
Many patients seek chiropractic care for common conditions such as:
- Neck pain and stiffness
- Low back pain
- Sciatica or radiating leg pain
- Shoulder pain and loss of motion
- Knee and hip discomfort
- Headaches related to neck tension
- Muscle tightness, joint restriction, and movement limitations
- Work-related or activity-related strains

What to Expect at Your Visit
Your chiropractic visit typically includes:
- A focused history and movement-based evaluation
- Assessment of joint motion, mobility restrictions, and soft tissue involvement
- When clinically indicated, in-office digital X-rays may be recommended to support evaluation and care planning. If advanced diagnostic imaging is appropriate, MRI or CT may be ordered or coordinated as needed to further clarify clinical findings and guide conservative care decisions.
- Conservative treatment planning based on clinical findings
- Clear guidance on home care and activity modification when appropriate
Treatment recommendations are individualized and may vary depending on the nature and severity of the condition.
Chiropractic Treatment Options
Your plan of care may include:
- Chiropractic adjustments (spinal or extremity manipulation)
- Soft tissue techniques to reduce tension and improve mobility
- Therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation recommendations
- Spinal decompression when clinically appropriate
- Adjunctive supportive therapies such as light-based therapies (cold laser / red light)
StemWave Regenerative Therapy
For select musculoskeletal conditions, Valley Physical Medicine also offers StemWave therapy, a non-invasive acoustic wave technology that may be used to support healing and pain reduction, often in conjunction with chiropractic care. This service may be recommended as an adjunct to conservative care when clinically appropriate.
Common conditions treated with StemWave may include shoulder pain, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis as well as some spinal related conditions. Individual outcomes vary, and treatment recommendations are based on clinical findings and response.

Care within a Medically Integrated Practice
Valley Physical Medicine is a physician-owned medical practice. Chiropractic services are provided by a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and may be coordinated with medical and rehabilitation providers when appropriate. All providers practice within their respective scopes of care.
This collaborative environment helps ensure patients receive conservative care options and appropriate referrals if additional services are needed.
Veterans and VA Community Care
Valley Physical Medicine participates in the VA Community Care program for eligible veterans. Chiropractic care is available for qualifying referrals, and our team can assist with documentation to support continuity of conservative care when medically necessary.
